Traveling with multiple bags is a real hassle

With multiple bags, it requires constant tracking and makes navigating crowded areas difficult. Additionally, extra bags increase travel costs due to airline fees and potential storage charges. Simplifying your luggage saves money and reduces stress, making your trip more enjoyable.

Chic urban young adult looking to simplify her travels

Setting the user persona helped to drive the development of the bag's functionality and features. Keeping in mind, this user base has additional disposable income to invest in a travel bag that fits her style and allows her to travel in the most efficient way.

Competitive benchmark illustrates a lack in an all-in-one travel bag

A competitive benchmark of personal item bags identified how there were rarely crossovers between the sections. Thus, users could either settle for prioritizing a more stylistic bag or a more functional one.

CMF and lifestyle inspiration board

Inspired by minimalistic colors, streetwear fashion, and the traveling experience.

Through user feedback, "travel with less" concept was chosen

Sketches and market research helped develop the general bag form. Based on the inspiration board, different color schemes were voted on from a pool of 40 users in the young adult range.
